Jordan Henderson, a midfielder for the England national soccer team, has praised his teammate Jude Bellingham after the two players shone for the Three Lions in their victory in the round of 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
England faced Senegal in the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup and secured their place in the quarter-finals with an impressive 3-0 victory over the African nation.
Against Senegal, England opened the scoring in the 38th minute of the game. Jude Bellingham stepped into the Senegal penalty area before cutting the ball off for Jordan Henderson, who flicked it inside to send England up one goal.
Jude Bellingham also played a key role in England’s second goal in this 2022 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match. England made it 2-0 at minute 45+3 of the game, with Harry Kane scoring. Bellingham won the ball inside England’s defensive third, advanced, then slipped a pass down the inside left channel to Phil Foden. Foden then passed a pass to Kane, who crashed the ball into the set.

Jordan Henderson described Jude Bellingham as “one of a kind.” “[He’s] incredible. I can’t keep saying nice things about him because we are talking, for me, about unique things. But he’s only young, he’s only 19 and we need him to play football, but unbelievable, unbelievable,” Henderson told the BBC.
Jude Bellingham, who was in England’s starting XI against Senegal, played for Gareth Southgate’s side until he was replaced in the 76th minute by Mason Mount. He was impressive throughout his time on the field against Senegal.
Southgate, meanwhile, came on for Jordan Henderson six minutes later, in the 82nd minute, with Kalvin Phillips coming off the bench.
Meanwhile, England will face France, the defending FIFA World Cup champions, in the quarter-finals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. France have sealed their place in the quarter-finals after defeating Poland 3- 1 in the quarterfinals. The two teams are among the favorites to lift the trophy in Qatar 2022.
