France is among the most successful nations on the European soccer circuit. The Blues have two FIFA World Cups, two European Championships, two FIFA Confederations, two CONBEMOL-UEFA Champions Cup and one UEFA Nations League.

The French squad wears the jerseys of their first clubs

The Blues players posed for a team photo wearing the jerseys of their first supporter clubs. The France team paid tribute to its fan clubs that played a key role in its development.

Marseille’s Mattéo Guendouzi was the only player not part of the photo, presumably because he began his career with the Phocaeans’ biggest rivals, Paris Saint-Germain.

Team France have secured their place in the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup after finishing top of Group D. They will then face Poland in the round of 16 match at the Al Thumama Stadium on 4 January. December 2022.
