More revelations are emerging about Juventus’ financial dealings and their efforts to make sure they cover their tracks.
The Bianconeri have been in the news lately for the wrong reasons, as they fight to clear their name from accusations of misfiling their accounts.
Former club president Andrea Agnelli and director Fabio Paratici appear to be the key men behind the deals and a new report reveals that Agnelli had secret meetings with the FIGC and Lega Serie A president, among others.
Football Italia reports that a leaked phone call reveals that he had a meeting with Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi, Genoa president Enrico Preziosi, Inter manager Beppe Marotta, Milan president Paolo Scaroni, the Udinese Vice President Stefano Campoccia and Bologna CEO Claudio Fenucci.
Reports also claim that Lega Serie A president Paolo Dal Pino and FIGC president Gabriele Gravina were also in the plans.
In a phone call the next day, Agnelli reportedly said:
“I just hope last night does something. GabrielThe presence of ey Paolo was helpful.
“I hope that something comes out of there, because otherwise I don’t know what to do. You and I already talked about it when we met in the office.
“Now we need this item to provide something useful, because otherwise we will slowly crash into the ground.”

The return of soccer can’t come soon enough to help distract us from all this off-pitch trouble.
