Many Liverpool fans eagerly watch England games in the hope that Jude Bellingham may soon be a Liverpool player and his bond with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson seems to grow stronger by the day.
Speaking to England, our skipper compared his intensity on the pitch to that of the Borussia Dortmund man: “I can see that in Jude [Bellingham] and it’s amazing to see that from a 19-year-old. We are cut from the same cloth in terms of how much we love soccer and dedicate our lives to the game. That helps me get even closer to him because of the maturity he has that is beyond his age.”

It’s clear that the 31-year-old feels a responsibility to look after some of the younger players in Gareth Southgate’s squad, so taking the 19-year-old under his wing may not necessarily be related to his move to Anfield.
However, no matter what, it’s great to see the leadership qualities our skipper clearly possesses in large numbers.
