Sevilla’s Youssef En Nesyri ‘wants to knock on the Premier League door again’ after being heavily linked with West Ham United for the past two years.
Mundo Deportivo has reported that the Spanish club will welcome another offer from West Ham in January, having turned down a €30m offer two seasons ago.
The striker has again found his scoring touch this World Cup with Morocco, scoring twice to help the team lead the group that included Belgium and Croatia, which has undoubtedly increased his value to Sevilla’s benefit.
According to the report, he wants to knock on the doors of the Premier League, as it is a league that he sees as an ‘ideal championship’ for him. The report adds that West Ham are said to be interested in him with David Moyes ‘in love with the game of him’.
With Sevilla needing to sell to make a new signing in January, they are looking to get rid of the striker if a good offer comes in for him. If West Ham offers anything close to what they offered for him last time, the Spanish club will reportedly happily accept.
Whether that will happen remains to be seen, but with West Ham and Moyes known to be big fans of him, one can expect plenty of talks to take place in the run-up to January.
