Gareth Southgate may have given him only 30 minutes of football, but our number 66 was quickly involved in the game and helped provide an early assist for Marcus Rashford’s second goal of the night.

With Jordan Henderson also starting the match, Liverpool supporters got a chance to see both Jurgen Klopp players play and it was also a positive performance from both of them.
With Virgil van Dijk and Ibou Konate already booking their place in the knockout rounds, along with the two Englishmen, it is now up to Alisson Becker, Fabinho and Darwin Nunez to join them.
It is unlikely that the Scouser of our team will have more minutes in this competition, unless there are injuries in the squad, but at least he can say that he has participated in his second World Cup.
