Kia gears up for FIFA World Cup 2022

KIA, the Official Automotive Partner of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, is ready to offer a simulator experience to fans at the World Cup. This will add more excitement to the ongoing event with two unmissable activations and prices.

KIA, along with its parent company Hyundai, is the sole sponsor of the FIFA World Cup among global automakers. The brand sees the FIFA World Cup as the perfect platform for marketing, with 5 billion people around the world watching. In addition to KIA, Coca-Cola, Adidas, VISA, McDonald’s and Qatar airways are other major sponsors of the FIFA World Cup.

South Korean automaker Kia, along with its parent company Hyundai Motors, have prepared for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. They are offering vehicle simulations and exciting prizes to fans who attend the event.

Activations will take place at Al Thumama Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium and Al Bayt Stadium. KIA will showcase its latest lineup of vehicles at the FIFA World Cup, including the EV6 GT, Sportage, K5, Telluride, K8 and Sorento.

Fans can enjoy a simulation experience on any vehicle of their choice in the Brand Activation Area. The Korean automaker is inviting fans to win prizes by participating in a soccer challenge. Winning entrants can walk away with Kia caps, wristbands and towels.

Apart from that, Kia is also supporting 64 ball carriers on match day throughout the tournament. Children from 20 different countries have the unique opportunity to bring the ball onto the field before kick-off.

Kia’s parent company, Hyundai Motors. has provided 616 vehicles, ranging from passenger cars to recreational and commercial vehicles for the FIFA World Cup.

While speaking to the media ahead of the World Cup, Hyundai Motors officials pledged to make efforts towards a sustainable future.

He said: “This is significant because we are the first green car sponsor in World Cup history. With the World Cup in Qatar as an opportunity, we will continue to strive to take the lead in achieving carbon neutrality.”
