Perfect opportunity for Chelsea’s fringe and academy players now – Talk Chelsea

Chelsea returned to training this week after the first team players had some time off to holiday, relax, spend time with family or however they wanted to use it.

There will be an internal game at Cobham, before the boys fly to Abu Dhabi for the friendly against Aston Villa on Sunday 11 December at 6:10pm local time (2:10pm UK time).

Obviously, we won’t have Chelsea’s World Cup players present, but there will be all the players who haven’t gone to the World Cup, as well as a part of the academy players to fill the gaps, and our injured players. in recovery too.

Players like Trevoh Chalobah, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Armando Broja, Marc Cucurella, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Jorginho will return to training this week before the trip. Everyone could use some friendly games to help bring back some good.

They are expected to be joined by Lewis Hall, Carney Chukwuemeka and Omari Hutchinson, who also had time off with the first team.

It will be a great chance for these guys to earn some playing time and prove a point as they will certainly be used in the Villa game. We might see more guys from the academy join the team as well.

I think the likes of Hall and co will really take this opportunity to step up and really give Graham Potter something to think about for the rest of the season, with many of these guys capable of bringing something new and different to the team. , and many of them are already proving that they are good enough to be in Chelsea’s senior team at this point.

This presents the perfect claim opportunity for all of these players now.
