Juve’s Filippo Ranocchia could switch sides in the middle of the season –

While Fabio Miretti and Nicolò Fagioli have become regular members of Max Allegri’s line-up and Nicolò Rovella has quickly established himself as a mainstay at Monza, Filippo Ranocchia is lagging behind in terms of development.

While the 21-year-old is certainly promising, Juventus currently have three other young midfielders ahead of him in the pecking order.

Like Rovella, the Perugia native is currently on loan at Monza. But unlike the first, Ranocchia is still rarely used.

The former Vicenza man has only featured in seven Serie A outings this term, scoring a solitary goal in the process, albeit a spectacular free-kick against Milan.

According to Corriere dello Sport via TuttoJuve, Ranocchia could switch clubs mid-season, with Cremonese showing interest in the young midfielder.

The Tigers are currently ranked 18th in the table and are still looking for their first win after 15 rounds.

The source believes that Cremonese would be willing to offer the star more playing time in the hope that he will return the favor by helping them in their difficult quest to avoid relegation.

Juve FC says

Perhaps Ranocchia would find more room at Cremonese, but switching sides every six months might not be ideal for his development.

Although not a regular starter at Monza, the Biancorossi are playing positive football under Raffaele Palladino, and the youngster can link up with other interesting midfielders such as Matteo Pessina and Stefano Sensi.
