Spain have taken the lead against Germany thanks to a beautiful goal from Álvaro Morata and it is one that will see Germany on the verge of elimination if they fail to respond.
The match has been very close so far, but having stepped onto the pitch just six minutes earlier, it was Morata who broke the tie and justified his coach’s decision to let him start.
The goal came after Jordi Alba intercepted the Atlético Madrid star’s run and the 30-year-old finished it off with a sensational finish past Manuel Neuer into the German goal.
Things got even tougher for Germany when Morata opened the scoring with a clever finish! ?#BBCFootball #BBCWorldCup
