Italian outlets hand their grades for Szczesny, Milik, Di Maria and Rabiot –

With several Juventus players taking part in World Cup action on Saturday, Bianconeri fans were expecting some solid outings from their stars.

IlBianconero provided us with the evaluations of the players from the main Italian media on the four Juventus stars who starred in the matches.

It all started with the Polish duo of Wojciech Szczesny and Arek Milik. The custodian led his nation to its first tournament win with a formidable display against Saudi Arabia.

The goalkeeper was recognized as man of the match (with an 8 rating) after stopping a penalty shot before deflecting the follow-through.

For his part, Milik received 6.5 ratings from all media outlets. Although he didn’t score, he came very close with a header that crashed into the woodwork, all the while working hard for his team.

As for Adrien Rabiot, he had a mixed bag in France’s 2-1 win over Denmark. Even though his mistake cost his team a goal, he made a laborious switch up midfield and nearly scored with an acrobatic effort. His grades vary between 6 and 7.

Finally, Ángel Di María participated in Argentina’s vital 2-0 victory over Mexico. Like the rest of his teammates, the first part of him was listless, but he improved remarkably in the second half.

La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport rate its performance a 6, while Tuttosport was a bit more generous with a 6.5 rating.
