Boost for Juventus as their target Grimaldo has still not signed a new deal

Juventus have put Alex Grimaldo on their shopping list for the next transfer market.

The Bianconeri are considering replacing Alex Sandro in their squad and feel the Spaniard is a good target.

Juve are still one of the biggest clubs in the world and Sandro seems to be entering the twilight of his career, so they want to replace him.

Grimaldo is an accomplished left-back in Europe and Juve consider him a player who can improve their squad.

The bianconeri are now looking to seal the deal sooner rather than later, but Benfica want to keep it too.

The Portuguese team have offered him a new contract and maintain the hope that he will sign it and stay.

However, to increase the chances of Juve getting him for free in the summer, a report on Tuttomercatoweb reveals that he has not responded.

He claims that the defender is not that interested in staying in Portugal, raising the chances that Juve will make him one of their men.

Juve FC says

Grimaldo has experience in European football and will probably do a good job for us if he moves to Turin.

The left-back is an important part of the team and needs an experienced player to ensure he produces the right results.
