In 2023, MS Dhoni will play his next game as CSK’s captain in the Indian Premier League (IPL). One of the most successful captains in Indian cricket history is the legendary batsman-wicketkeeper.

FIFA World Cup 2022: BCCI assesses $50m base price for team WIPL, MI and CSK await bidding

The first Women’s IPL will kick off in just four months, though the BCCI has yet to reveal its intentions. However, the procedure for acquiring a franchise is a crucial aspect that has not yet been made public.

While the BCCI is reportedly eyeing a base fee of nearly Rs 400 crore, according to a News18 report. In 2008, BCCI set the same starting price for franchises in the men’s IPL.

Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will have WIPL teams and are set to receive bidding documents as soon as BCCI announces it, as previously reported. Five other IPL teams have expressed interest. Whereas once we learn about the proper procedure, we will be interested in purchasing an IPL equipment for women. According to a CSK spokesperson, “We have not yet received any notification from BCCI.”
