There is never a lack of support for the team. A CSK fan gained notoriety after being photographed wearing MS Dhoni’s CSK jersey during the FIFA World Cup match between Brazil and Serbia.
Photos of a fan of MS Dhoni from Qatar were shared on the official Twitter account of the CSK fan base. Dhoni’s supporter can be seen flaunting his love for the renowned captain in the stills.
In 2023, MS Dhoni will play his next game as CSK’s captain in the Indian Premier League (IPL). One of the most successful captains in Indian cricket history is the legendary batsman-wicketkeeper.
MS Dhoni has also elevated CSK to the position of supremacy of the tournament. Under his guidance, CSK have advanced to the IPL finals nine times, a record. Of those nine finals, CSK has won four.

There are rumors that the 2019 IPL may be the last for MS Dhoni, and fans are hoping that his Thala can have an IPL triumph in his last match. On November 15, the four-time champions revealed their IPL 2023 retainer list. T20 specialists like Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali and Shivam Dube are on CSK’s star list.

FIFA World Cup 2022: BCCI assesses $50m base price for team WIPL, MI and CSK await bidding
The first Women’s IPL will kick off in just four months, though the BCCI has yet to reveal its intentions. However, the procedure for acquiring a franchise is a crucial aspect that has not yet been made public.
While the BCCI is reportedly eyeing a base fee of nearly Rs 400 crore, according to a News18 report. In 2008, BCCI set the same starting price for franchises in the men’s IPL.
Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will have WIPL teams and are set to receive bidding documents as soon as BCCI announces it, as previously reported. Five other IPL teams have expressed interest. Whereas once we learn about the proper procedure, we will be interested in purchasing an IPL equipment for women. According to a CSK spokesperson, “We have not yet received any notification from BCCI.”
