Liverpool fans are smitten with our two attacking heroes, Mo Salah and Darwin Nunez, so it’s worth revisiting the moment the pair first met.
During last year’s Champions League tie between Benfica and us, there was a moment in the second half when the Egyptian king helped the opposition number 9 to their feet.

Little did the pair know at the time that they were going to be teammates next season, but it showed the amiable nature of our number 11 right now.
The Reds went on to win the tie, but the Uruguayan impressed our staff enough to break the bank and bring him to Anfield this summer.
