‘Juventus cannot find anything’ Sabatini says Allegri is irreplaceable

Football director Walter Sabatini commented on Max Allegri’s future after fans and some pundits called on Juventus to sack the manager weeks ago.

Juve had a bad start to the season and things got worse. It seemed the club’s next step was to get rid of a man who won five consecutive league titles in his first spell as manager.

However, the Bianconeri stuck to their boss and avoided the temptation to sack their third manager in as many years.

The manager has now planned a change in performance and Juve seems to be on the rise now.

Sabatini says it’s ridiculous that fans would want him gone because there aren’t better bosses on the market.

He said via Football Italia:

“It is an act of football perversion to ask for Allegri’s dismissal now.

“We are talking about a man who won repeated Serie A titles and he did it at a historically difficult moment. Juventus can’t find anything better on the market than him, so I think those who want him to be sacked are a bit of an outsider.”

Juve FC says

Allegri is one of the best men in the business and we really would have struggled to replace him with a better boss.

Now he is proving his worth and we expect his team to improve even further when Paul Pogba returns and Federico Chiesa is in top form.
