Sky Sports journalist discusses Juventus’ chance of keeping Rabiot

Adrien Rabiot will surely leave Juventus at the end of this season, acknowledges Sky Sports journalist Emanuele Baiocchini.

The midfielder has been in excellent form this term, but it could be his last in black and white.

Juve allowed him into the final year of his current contract and they even wanted to sell him to Manchester United in the summer.

They agreed to a fee with the Red Devils, but he couldn’t agree on personal terms and the signing fell apart.

As he shines in this club and national team campaign, the Bianconeri will try to retain him, but Baiocchini doesn’t think the midfielder will stay.

He says via Tuttomercatoweb:

“The player’s requests are too high by Juventus’ current standards, the chances of him staying in Turin are very close to zero.”

Juve FC says

Rabiot is one of the fittest midfielders in Europe now and it is clear to all football fans.

Juve could have retained him if they had offered him an extension earlier, but he underperformed until this season.

We need to prepare for the eventuality that he leaves and start looking for a replacement for him now.
