USA-Wales’ World Cup 2022 Match ends in a 1-1 draw

The United States and Wales drew 1-1 in their first World Cup match at Al Rayyan Stadium.

Both teams are in Group B, along with England and Iran. A win in the game would have been huge for both teams given that England had beaten Iran 6-2 in their opener at the Khalifa International Stadium.

The Three Lions are expected to qualify from the group, with the second qualifying spot for the knockout phase at stake. Wales will play Iran on November 25, while the United States will face England on November 26.
