“I’m not done yet” – Milner on reaching 600 Premier League appearances

James Milner is undoubtedly a role model within our team and is considered the greatest statesman in the dressing room, and his last appearance for Liverpool was 308 for the Reds, but also 600 in the Premier League.

Speaking to Viaplay Fotball, our vice-captain reflected on the milestone figure: “It’s good to get over that 600 milestone but I’m not done yet and I hope I can continue to contribute to Liverpool.”

It’s great that our number 7 remains so determined to continue to impress and perform for Jurgen Klopp and he clearly doesn’t feel like a man ready to make his last appearance in the red jersey.

It was another brilliant cameo against Southampton and the 36-year-old has an important role within our team, one that is rarely fulfilled by anything other than a strong performance.
