Darwin Núñez seems to be going from strength to strength. He couldn’t leave Liverpool for the World Cup in better shape and his loyal fans made sure to give him a good send-off.
After scoring twice and helping the Reds defeat Southampton, Pep Lijnders came on for the striker off the pitch and that invited a brilliant reception for the former Benfica man.

The four sides of the stadium stood up and applauded the Uruguayan and he responded with a grateful applause and it shows that there is a great mutual love in the place.
Now our No.27 is going to Qatar and we will continue to support him from afar, hoping that he will have a successful tournament and that he can come back and continue this brilliant run of form immediately.
