Sarri says Lazio and Juventus match is nothing but a normal fixture

Maurizio Sarri will face Juventus as Lazio coach this weekend, just before the World Cup break.

The former Bianconeri coach is rebuilding his career at Lazio after his one-year stint on the Juve bench.

His Lazio are having a good season, but Juve are gradually catching up with them inside the top four.

The Bianconeri will knock them down the league table if they beat the Biancocelesti at the weekend.

It is a match that could be between two clubs that could fight for the league title.

However, Sarri believes that this particular meeting does not count for anything. He said via Football Italia:

“Right now it’s just one big game, it seems a bit of a stretch to see anything else in week 15. The table is still tight, one week you’re sixth, the next second, but with 23 points to go everything is still up in the air. ”

Juve FC says

These are the first days and the results cannot determine the fate of any club at the moment.

However, we must continue to win games to remain close to the top of the league.

That is one way we can stay competitive because if we allow the top clubs to widen the gap between us, we will have a hard time catching up with them.
