Video: Bruno Fernandes shares heartfelt moment with Alejandro Garnacho after Aston Villa heroics – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United came from behind to win 4-2 against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.

United got off to a lackluster start to the first half but came back to life after Villa took the lead through Ollie Watkins, who went on goal and made no mistake passing the ball to Martin Dubravka.

What followed was a flurry of goals, with United’s coming from Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay.

However, although the team as a whole will take credit for the brilliant comeback, it is Alejandro Garnacho who is once again grabbing the headlines.

The young Argentine came on as an impact substitute and had an unreal impact.

In limited time, he was a constant thorn in the back of Villa’s defence, who found it difficult to deal with his explosive pace and tricky feet.

Garnacho was excellent with his dribbling and was dangerous. The icing on the brilliant cameo from him was a brilliant cross to McTominay, who slid in to help the ball past Villa’s goal.

After the game, Garnacho shared a warm moment with his teammate Fernandes. In the video, Garnacho is seen walking off the pitch before spotting Fernandes and putting an arm around the Portuguese.

Garnacho then appears to share a joke with Fernandes, who is amid applause from the fans before giving the 18-year-old a pat on the back.

The couple then walk in solidarity as Garnacho raises his fists in the air in jubilation.

The youngster’s performance against Villa will do him a world of good as he continues his journey to claim a first-team starting spot.

Encouragingly, he seems to get on well with veteran players who will undoubtedly play a crucial role in his development.
