Juventus makes January plans for Federico Gatti

Juventus signed Federico Gatti from Frosinone earlier this year and the defender was able to stay on loan at the Serie B club until this season.

He joined the Bianconeri team in the summer and was hoping to be a starter.

After the departure of Giorgio Chiellini and Matthijs de Ligt in the last transfer window, he was hoping for more chances.

However, Juve signed Gleison Bremer and the Brazilian alongside Leonardo Bonucci has been Juve’s first choice so far.

Gatti has gotten some minutes as Max Allegri refuses to rush him into a more prominent role in the team.

Since the defender gets less action on the pitch, it might be ideal to send him out on loan in January.

However, a Calciomercato report reveals that Juve will not sanction the temporary transfer of the defender.

Instead, they expect him to stay with the club and continue to climb the pecking order.

Juve FC says

Gatti showed a high-level performance while at Frosinone, which is why we signed him.

He is still young and has the potential to become one of the best players on our team.

However, we must be patient with him and allow him to learn from players above him in the pecking order.
