Dominic King noted that FSG’s statement on the decision to put Liverpool up for sale did not make it clear that offers for the entire sale of the Premier League team would not be accepted.
While there is a clear intention to invite another outside investor to improve the Reds’ financial capabilities, it is entirely possible that the team will change hands in the future.
The Merseysiders have already been the subject of ‘at least’ one approach since the announcement.
