Vlahovic and Dzeko insulted by fans -Juvefc.com

Juventus scored their biggest win of the season so far last night, beating arch-rivals Inter with two unanswered goals courtesy of Adrien Rabiot and Nicolò Fagioli.

But as is often the case, the Derby d’Italia had its fair share of controversial episodes, with a small portion of the supporters leaving their manners at the door.

According to Corriere dello Sport, both Edin Dzeko and Dusan Vlahovic were subjected to racial slurs.

Although the Serbian striker did not even take part in the action due to injury, he was present at the Allianz Stadium to support his Juventus teammates. He also received the MVP award for the best club player in October.

Apparently, a small part of the Inter fans who traveled with their team directed some insults towards the former Fiorentina attacker, calling him a “gypsy”, which is unfortunately a common derogatory term used against a Balkan individual.

In response, a minority of Bianconeri fans returned the unpleasant favor by directing similar insults at Inter striker Edin Dzeko, who responded with a vulgar hand gesture.

The source believes that the federal prosecutor could launch an investigation into these ugly incidents that marred what was an exciting night for Juventus fans.
