Conte booked after embarrassing ball slap on Pep Lijnders

Liverpool’s two-goal lead was halved by Harry Kane’s header and that prompted Antonio Conte to be as expressive as ever, but things spilled over a bit when he entered the opposition’s technical area.

The Italian coach seemed to want to speed up the entry of a new ball onto the field but he couldn’t and that clearly frustrated him.

Instead of appealing to the referee to speed up the actions of some of our staff members, the Spurs manager approached Pep Lijnders and decided to take the ball out of his hands.

The reaction from our assistant manager and Jurgen Klopp was initially one of confusion, but the pair remained relaxed in the heat of battle.
