Rumoured lineup: Donny van de Beek and Alejandro Garnacho to start against Aston Villa – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United are set to start against Aston Villa in just over an hour.

United will be looking to return to winning ways after a hard-fought 1-0 win against West Ham in the team’s last Premier League outing.

Erik ten Hag will face a selection dilemma, with injuries to Anthony Martial and Antony.

Jadon Sancho is ill and it is unknown if he will play a role against Aston Villa.

The other problem is that Bruno Fernandes is unavailable for selection as he received a booking against West Ham which effectively ruled him out of today’s game.

According to a relatively reliable source on Twitter who has been right on several occasions before, there will be some surprise inclusions in the starting XI.

Alejandro Garnacho will start after his heroism against Real Sociedad on Thursday.

If this were to come to pass, it would be a huge vote of confidence from Ten Hag in the talented young man.

Garnacho will play in attack with Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford.

Rashford reaches the starting eleven after being left out and having to do with a place on the bench against Real Sociedad in the Europa League.

To fix Fernandes’ disappearance in action, Ten Hag turns to Donny van de Beek as a solution.

The Dutchman didn’t make much of an impact against Sociedad and will have another chance to impress against Villa.

Van de Beek is likely to play right in front of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in the middle of the park.
