Jeff Stelling left his fellow Sky Sports panelists in a state of disbelief at his claim that Jurgen Klopp should reduce his media commitments.
This comes with Liverpool languishing in ninth place in the Premier League ahead of their visit to Tottenham, although they have already qualified beyond their Champions League group.
There is no doubt that work must be done to get the club back on track, although the vaguest suggestion that the former Mainz head coach is not doing enough to improve his side’s fortunes should be scoffed at.
