Tottenham Hotspur have received a major injury boost regarding star winger Dejan Kulusevski.

Kulusevski has produced an excellent performance for the London outfit since arriving on loan from Juventus in the 2022 winter transfer window. He has made 25 Premier League appearances so far, registering six goals and 11 assists. Tottenham have the option to sign him permanently for 35 million euros at the end of the current season.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Dejan Kulusevski is set to return to action this weekend after injury. He is likely to be called up for Tottenham’s Premier League clash against Liverpool this weekend.

Kulusevski suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty with Sweden last month. As a result, he has missed the Spurs’ last 10 games in all competitions.

Antonio Conte has provided an update on Tottenham’s injury situation while speaking to the media recently. He said: “We have these injuries and I can confirm that Richarlison is not available for the game. The same thing happens to Romero but Bentancur is much better.

Today was part of the training session. The same thing happened to Kulusevski, today he had half a training session with us”. Spurs are currently third in the Premier League table, five points behind leaders Arsenal. Kulusevski’s return will be a huge boost for Antonio Conte as the London outfit look to challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Fabrizio Romano updated on the future of Giovani Lo Celso

In another report, Fabrizio Romano claimed that Giovani Lo Celso’s long-term future is far from Tottenham. In his column for Caught Offside, he wrote: “I hope Giovani Lo Celso’s future is away from Tottenham.

His price tag of around €20-25m prevented Villarreal from signing him on a permanent deal this summer, but they love him and he’s a key player since he came back on loan.

Lo Celso joined Spurs on loan from Real Betis in 2019 and definitively in 2020. However, he has not managed to establish himself among the regulars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Argentina international has made 55 Premier League appearances for Spurs so far, registering one goal and three assists.

He joined La Liga club Villareal on loan in the January transfer window. Lo Celso impressed with his performances at the Estadio de la Cerámica last season and the Yellow Submarine signed him back on loan at the start of this season. He has played eight La Liga games this season, registering one goal.
