Jesse Marsch confirms he didn’t allow Leeds player to leave for his birthday

Leeds boss Jesse Marsch admits he didn’t allow Crysencio Summerville to join his family for his birthday, in order to stay with the team at the Halloween party.

Summerville was the star of the weekend as he scored the winner against Liverpool at Anfield to give Leeds all three points in a very tough game.

“He wanted to go home and I told him no. We also had a Halloween party, so we did it with the families, all the players and the first team staff. All the guys had good costumes, but Pascal Struijk was the best, he was a hippy”. Marchch said.

Marsch acknowledges that he constantly talks with the full-back to improve him tactically because his technical side is already very good.

“I talked to him about it from the beginning and we just need to keep pushing him every day in terms of his mindset of being a pro and then the technical and tactical aspects of what we’re trying to accomplish.
