Former Inter Milan player Javier Zanetti has commented on the Nerazzurri’s game against Juventus this weekend and is hoping for a close encounter between the two clubs.
Juve have underperformed this term and put in some terrible performances against teams they should easily beat.
Inter are not doing much better and only two points separate them in the current league table.
Juventus can defeat their opponent in the Derby d’Italia with a win in that match, but it won’t be easy to pull off.
Inter beat Juve in several domestic games last season, including the Super Cup and Coppa Italia finals.
This means that the Bianconeri will have some revenge on their minds ahead of this match.
Zanetti believes that now the teams are even and there is no clear favourite.
He said through Tuttomercatoweb:
“The rivalry is always there and beyond the table I don’t see a favourite. This challenge comes at the right time: we cannot afford to take any false steps.”
Juve FC says
Beating Inter Milan will give us a confidence boost and that could help us have a long winning streak.
They also need a statement win to fire up their season and we are the perfect opponents for them to face off against.
