Manchester United star Marcus Rashford reacted by playing as a second striker in the Red Devils’ victory over FC Sheriff in the Europa League.

Erik ten Hag’s men hosted Sheriff at Old Trafford in a Europa League group stage match and secured a 3-0 win over the Moldovan outfit. Rashford was named on the bench, but the England international came on in the second half.

He also scored a goal in the 65th minute of the match, directing his header from Luke Shaw’s cross that went past Maksym Koval and into the FC Sheriff net.

Against Sheriff, Rashford played a central role, as a second striker, just behind Cristiano Ronaldo. Speaking about playing as a second striker, Rashford insisted that he was comfortable in that position.
