Marsch confirms Leeds without up to eight players

Certainly Leeds United and Liverpool are not preparing to face each other while at their best, with Jesse Marsch confirming his side could be without as many as eight players.

Speaking to the media before the game at Anfield, the American said: “Stuart [Dallas] and Adam [Forshaw] they are still out. Also questionable are Leo Hjelde with his appendectomy. and then joffy [Joe Gelhardt]Rodrigo [Rodrigo Moreno]Luis [Sinisterra]Liam [Cooper] and Tyler [Adams] everyone is a little doubtful. We’ll see how the next 48 hours go for all those players. That is all.”

That’s two certainties and six perhaps for the Yorkshire club, but our boss has a less questionable but more worrying number of absences, as confirmed by the club’s website: ‘Jordan Henderson will be assessed before the 7.45pm BST kick-off. , although Naby Keita Joel Matip, Diogo Jota, Luis Díaz and Arthur Melo are left out.

The German will hope his side has enough to take down our out-of-form opposition, but it certainly won’t be an easy task as he looks ready to fight.

A repeat of last year’s 6-0 win in this match would be great if possible guys!
