Tony Damascelli says investigators are targeting Juve because they are an easy touchJuvefc.com

Juventus is the subject of an investment in capital gains and it is not the first time that its shares have been under scrutiny.

The Bianconeri are the biggest club in Italy and often make financial decisions that other top-flight clubs cannot.

This causes envy, but it is not only the other sides that do not understand why they have so much financial power.

The authorities also keep an eye on them and often want to investigate their agreements on sales and even salary reductions.

They believe that Juve got their accounting wrong during the covid-19 pandemic and that the club may have to clear its name soon.

Italian journalist Tony Damascelli says they are going through these legal hurdles because they are easy targets.

He said via Tuttojuve:

“Juventus is an easy target, the president’s last name is even more so, the knitters in front of the guillotine are waiting to know how many points the team will be penalized in the standings and the last name of those who will end up in jail.

“The trial has already started even before the defendants and the judges enter the courtroom.”

Juve FC says

These obstacles are not new to us and we will always come out ahead at the end of it all.

Our executives have assured everyone that they have always done the right thing, which is what we needed to hear.

Our focus must be on performing better on the field as we strive to get the results right in Europe and on a national level.
