Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo helped him and Antony adjust to life at the Old Trafford team.
Both Antony and Casemiro joined Manchester United in the summer transfer window. The Red Devils acquired Casemiro from Spanish giants Real Madrid while beefing up their midfield department.
Antony was a transfer target throughout the summer and Man Utd had seen offers for the Brazilian striker turned down by his then-club Ajax. However, the Old Trafford side finally secured Antony’s services in the final week of the summer transfer window.
Antony’s move to Man Utd also means he has reunited with Erik ten Hag, who was his manager at Ajax.

Revealing that Ronaldo helped him and Antony adjust to life at Man Utd, Casemiro told the club’s official website: “First of all, Cris is a great friend of ours, he always helped us from the moment we arrived. .
Casemiro and Ronaldo have played together for Real Madrid before, with the Brazilian hailing the Portuguese superstar as an “exceptional person”.
“He is an exceptional person, I already knew him from Real Madrid, we have worked together for a long time”.
Since joining Man Utd in the summer, Casemiro has recorded a goal and an assist for the Red Devils. His first assist at Manchester United was for Ronaldo in their 2-1 win over Everton in the Premier League.
Casemiro intercepted the ball and sent Ronaldo off and the Portuguese fired the ball into the net to score Man Utd’s winning goal of the game.
