Andrea Agnelli reportedly met Juventus on- and off-side staff at the Continassa training ground this morning.
The meeting had become necessary after the club was involved in a new legal battle for capital gains.
Prosecutors believe they now have a strong case against the Bianconeri and will pursue it.
Some revelations have already been made public, but a report by Football Italia reveals that Agnelli met with the club’s playing and non-playing staff and assured them that they had no case to answer because they always did the right thing.
He was quoted as saying: “All united, the club has always acted correctly.”
Juve FC says
As one of the biggest clubs in the world and the biggest in Italy, Juve is exposed to attack by government agencies and other clubs.
We remain one of the only financially viable teams out there, and these authorities are wondering how we stay in business despite huge expenses.
For now, we believe the club president and remain innocent until proven otherwise.
Hopefully, his speech will calm everyone’s nerves and the players will be focused when they take the field in their next competitive match.
