Harvey Elliot and Darwin Núñez scored twice in quick succession to extend Liverpool’s lead.
After a horrendous first-half miss, somehow hitting the post with the goal at his mercy, Nunez will have been desperate for redemption.
The Liverpool striker did just that, headed in to extend Liverpool’s lead. Shortly after, the young Elliot somehow hit the near post to make it 3-0 for Liverpool.
