Chelsea urged to seal Kylian Mbappe transfer from PSG

Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf has asked his former club to do everything possible for the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.

The French international is one of the biggest names in world football right now, and it would be a pleasure to see him in the Premier League at some point in his career.

Mbappé has been at PSG since 2017, scoring 187 goals in 233 appearances for the club in all competitions, while he has also been a star player internationally, scoring 28 goals in 59 appearances for France, including one of the goals in the 2018 World Cup. Victory in the Cup final over Croatia.

Leboeuf has now asked Chelsea to try an ambitious move for Mbappe if he is really uneasy at PSG, as the pundit feels the Blues could be one of the few clubs that could afford him.

Kylian Mbappé celebrates a goal with PSG

“When I heard Mbappe say he doesn’t see his future at PSG, I thought nothing would stop Chelsea from doing everything they could to try to bring him to Stamford Bridge,” Leboeuf told fair betting sites, quoted by Football 365.

“If he wants to leave PSG, Boehly could put £100m on the table and say ‘take it or leave it’ because realistically no one else is going to buy him.

“People say Real Madrid but they have Benzema up top and Vinicius Jr on the left and Rodrygo on the right and they’re on fire so I can’t see him going there now.”

Chelsea have shown plenty of ambition under new owner Todd Boehly, and Mbappe would really make a serious statement from the west London club.

Graham Potter could also use a top signing up front, as the club have made a number of disappointing signings in attacking positions in recent times, without Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech or Christian Pulisic really working out.
