Links between Liverpool and Mykhaylo Mudryk have ebbed of late, although one can only imagine that the Ukrainian’s latest Champions League effort will have caught the eye of the recruiting squad at Anfield.
The Shakhtar Donetsk star helped his side expose Celtic at half-time, carrying the ball from just past the halfway line before finishing off an effort past Joe Hart from distance.
It’s a stunning goal from the highly rated 21-year-old who continues to impress in Europe and consequently increases his value.
While the front line isn’t a position we should be looking to strengthen in the near future, we wouldn’t be too surprised to learn that Julian Ward and company are keeping an eye on the man dubbed the ‘Ukrainian Neymar’ (as reported by the Echo).
