Rishi Sunak is set to become the UK’s next Prime Minister, but he recently revealed his childhood dreams, which included owning his favorite Premier League club.
Sunak will become Britain’s first Asian prime minister after House of Commons Leader Penny Mordaunt withdrew from the Conservative leadership race, replacing the woman who originally won him the job, Liz Truss.
This is one of the biggest moments of his life, but the 42-year-old revealed the roles he’d love to have in life if he wasn’t a politician at a campaign event in Exeter recently and declared he wanted to be a star. Wars or owning his favorite Premier League club, Southampton.

“On my bucket list of life ambitions, well, when I was a kid, I wanted to be in a Star Wars movie, um, so it’s probably not a sensible thing to do,” Sunak said in August via Sport Bible.
“But I’m a huge football fan, I’m from Southampton and if I could run Southampton.”
Sunak is a very rich man, so maybe one day he will have the opportunity to own a part of the club, if not all of it.
