Premier League team of the week: Haaland Xhaka Casemiro

The final Premier League team of the week is here, as BBC sports pundit Garth Crooks selects his best line-up from the weekend that just ended.

Some of the usual suspects are there, with Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne once again shining for Manchester City as they gained ground on league leaders Arsenal with a win over Brighton. And although the Gunners only managed a 1-1 draw away to Southampton, Granit Xhaka scored and had another big game as he remains one of the most improved players in the country this season.

See the full XI below, with a rare appearance from two Nottingham Forest players like goalkeeper Dean Henderson and striker Taiwo Awoniyi making up the squad after an upset 1-0 win over Liverpool briefly took them out of the game. bottom of the Premier League table.

Casemiro also arrives in the squad after impressing for Manchester United in a 1-1 draw against Chelsea, his performance in midfield ultimately rewarded with an injury-time equalizer.
