Manchester United stepping up chase for Brazilian wonderkid Endrick – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United are increasing their interest in Brazilian wunderkind Endrick as they are among several clubs keeping an eye on the player.

That’s according to journalist Caio Carrieri, who tweeted:

“Information:

“Manchester United steps up observation of Endrick.

“The orientation in the club is to look to Brazil to go to the greatest number of Palmeiras games and to evaluate, insanely, the development of the child.

“United Observer was already in the debut of the promise, against Coritiba”.

Endrick made his senior debut earlier this month, becoming the youngest Palmeiras player in history to do so.

The striker was just sixteen years, two months and sixteen days at the time.

Considered one of the best young talents in the world, Endrick has been compared to Brazilian greats Ronaldo and Romario.

The player cannot officially move until he turns 18, however that has not stopped a host of major European clubs from monitoring his situation.

United could negotiate a deal early, however Palmeiras are likely to point to Endrick’s release clause if they try.

That clause is set at €40m, which would be a huge commitment for a player unable to play or train for the club for another two years.

Such is Endrick’s potential; it is not beyond the realms of possibility that a club could look to do that in short order.

Real Madrid reached a similar deal with Flamengo, paying €45m to secure Vinicius Junior’s future in Spain.

If Endrick continues to impress while playing for Palmeiras’ senior team, it’s only a matter of time before someone takes him.
