English Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Chicago Fire wonder boy Jhon Duran in the next transfer window.
Born in MedellÃn, Colombia, John Duran began his football career at Colombian club Envigado.
He spent two seasons with the Colombian club and then joined Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire in early 2022. After playing a few games for Chicago’s second team, the winger soon cemented himself in the starting lineup.
So far he has already played twenty-seven games this season. Duran has already scored eight goals. He has also provided five assists. His perseverance was awarded by the Colombian team when he debuted with the national team call. Durán made his debut with the Colombian national team in a friendly match against Guatemala in the last international window.

Reports further suggest that United have already made contact with Duran’s camp. The 18-year-old right-back is currently valued at €10m.

However, they will have competition from two other English Premier League teams: Liverpool and Chelsea.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool signed Colombian winger Luis DÃaz at the beginning of last January. And now they want to sign his countrymen to accompany him on the opposite side. Liverpool currently don’t have many natural right-wingers. So Duran will get decent playing time in Klopp’s team.
