Liverpool’s loss to Nottingham Forest was certainly disappointing, but it’s impossible to ignore that nine senior players were missing and it looked like Mo Salah might be about to join the roster.
During the game at the City Ground our number 11 fell inside the box but apparently without contact and some surmised that our striker might have dived in an attempt to win a penalty.

However, replays showed the 30-year-old appeared to be in considerable pain and it certainly is a rare watch.
The Egyptian king played the rest of the match, so let’s hope there isn’t an underlying injury that soon reveals itself for our ace shooter.
