Mancini opens the door for Kean to return to the national teamJuvefc.com

Italy coach Roberto Mancini has left the door open for Moise Kean to regain his place in the squad.

The striker has been in terrible shape since returning to Juventus and has not been selected in several games for his country.

He missed out on the squad for Euro 2020 and his performance over the past two seasons has not helped his chances of returning to the squad.

Max Allegri has continued to rely on him, despite the fact that he rarely scores and found the back of the net in his match against Empoli last night.

Mancini’s team failed to qualify for the World Cup and is rebuilding the group by giving opportunities to several new players.

He spoke about Kean’s chances of getting a return and insisted the striker is still in the pool.

He said via Calciomercato:

“Kean can play first and second striker, he also played with us as a winger and it went well for him, because of the qualities he showed at the start today he should have been a starter for the national team. But he is still young, I hope he can keep improving, the doors are open for everyone”.

Juve FC says

Kean is one of Italy’s promising strikers, but the likes of Gianluca Scamacca and Giacomo Raspadori are not doing badly either, meaning there is competition for a place in the squad.

The striker will get his chance, but he has to improve his performance at club level to make it.
