Everton vs Crystal Palace: TV coverage

Everton and Crystal Palace have TV coverage plans as both sides look to capitalize on their early seasons.

For Crystal Palace, that means extending further up the table. Entering Goodison Park, Palace are mid-table with a perfectly balanced record of three wins, three losses and four draws. That said, several of the teams around Palace played one more game than the Eagles’ 10.

One of those teams with 11 games played is Everton. For the Toffees, this game is about creating a bigger stretch with the relegation zone. Most Everton fans want to forget about the tremendous survival effort of a season ago. Just one point above drop, Everton need a lot more security.

Television coverage of Everton and Crystal Palace

Start time: 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m.

Everton and Crystal Palace are part of a relatively quiet 10am start window on Saturday in the Premier League. Traditionally, there are four or five games in this slot. On Saturday there is this match, as well as Manchester City’s duel against Brighton. However, that’s it. In total, there are four games on Saturday.

Despite the moderate schedule, NBC has its usual coverage of the Premier League. Before this game, Premier League Live recaps the Forest-Liverpool game, while also showing a preview of the Everton-Palace match. That same program returns after the Goodison Park game, with the Goal Zone after the Chelsea-United game at 12:30 p.m.

As stated, this match is not one that features the biggest names or the brightest lights. Instead, it shows the mid-table dogfight in the Premier League. The aspirations of both Everton and Crystal Palace are not as high as those of their neighbors across town.

That said, this is still an interesting game, particularly given the fact that both managers are former players at other Premier League clubs.
