The Nottingham Forest-Liverpool duel is the first of what is shaping up to be a busy day in the English Premier League. Not only are these two old foes battling it out, but Manchester City are playing against a tough side from Brighton and Hove Albion. Then, in the last game of the day, Chelsea hosts Manchester United.

Throughout the day, NBC’s coverage includes at least 30 minutes of pregame coverage, including before the aforementioned early kickoff. Then after each game, Premier League Live or Goal Zone wrap up the action beforehand.

These two clubs are on different trajectories in the current Premier League campaign. After a brutal start to the season, Liverpool have consecutive wins against Manchester City and West Ham. With 16 points from 10 games, Liverpool sit in seventh place in the table. Not good enough for Anfield’s high standards.

Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, were unable to recover from a slow start. In fact, things seem to be getting worse at City Ground. Respectable draws against Aston Villa and Brighton polish off six Premier League defeats in a span of seven games.
