The CEO of A22 Sports Management, the company that works on the European Super League, Bernd Reichart, has revealed more about the competition, which will be relaunched soon.
Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid are the clubs that continue to bet on the emergence of the contest despite the fact that the other nine original protagonists have since withdrawn their support.
These three clubs believe it is time to break UEFA’s monopoly on European football and they will not give up even though their first attempt failed last year.
Reichart was just appointed to his position and recently interviewed him and answered questions about the idea.
He explains, quoted by Calciomercato:
“There is an idea of ours, which is based on an open tournament, with relegation and promotion, which can be more attractive to the public, more attractive and better to spend globally. But we are here to listen, to analyze everyone’s ideas and not to impose a format, but to build it together”.
