Journalist urges Juventus not to allow Pogba to go to the World CupJuvefc.com

Italian journalist Marcello Chirico has urged Juventus not to rush Paul Pogba and Federico Chiesa back into action and prevent the Frenchman from going to the World Cup.

Pogba has been injured since July and has just returned to partial team training, while Chiesa has been out since the beginning of this year.

The Italian is closer to returning to the pitch, but Pogba is a key player for the France team.

They are the World Cup holders and he is desperate to participate in their defense of the competition.

However, Chirico believes that letting him go to the tournament is pointless. Instead, the former Manchester United man should stay behind and continue his recovery at home.

He said through Tuttomercatoweb:

“Chiesa and Pogba are unlikely to return any time soon. It amazes me that someone says that he plays for Milan or even before. But everyone on social media believes in Chiesa’s upcoming return. It was good. They will be there in January.

“I hope Juventus stop and don’t allow Pogba to go to the World Cup. He’s stuck, he’s had surgery late, he has to stay here. Do we want to risk losing him permanently with the World Cup if he gets injured? the owner of the card is not the French Federation but Juventus”.

Juve FC says

Pogba is a player that we need in all of our games this season and there is little point in exposing him to something that aggravates his injury problems.

The midfielder has been injury-prone of late and needs to better manage his workload.

That will hardly happen at the World Cup, where he would play so many games in quick succession for his national team.
