Bayern Munich plotting major coup for Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag in the future – Man United News And Transfer News

Bayern Munich will look to sign Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag if the Dutchman enjoys success in England with the Red Devils.

This is according to Sjors Ultee, who once worked with Ten Hag early in his career.

Ultee told the Voetbal Niuews podcast The King of Manchester via SportWitness that it is not unimaginable that the German giants would swoop down on Ten Hag and lure him back to Bavaria.

Ultee said, “At the moment, there are steps up to think about for Ten Hag. Not when you talk about the size of the club, but when you talk about being champions.”

“If he stays there for a long time, it’s certainly not inconceivable (United win the title). He can do a very good job, but if you do it, there will also be a lot of clubs that will think of him.”

“At Bayern Munich, for example, he has already worked. He fits very well in the German league. I imagine they will ask him after a few good years at United. If Ten Hag stays at United for a long time, then the answer is yes.”

Ten Hag was once in charge of Bayern Munich II. He enjoyed a two-year spell there, where he worked under Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

He is said to be highly regarded in Munich, with fans seeing him as a legitimate target to one day take over the Allianz Arena.

In fact, it is claimed that the United manager sees Bayern Munich as a dream date.

Ten Hag shares are certainly on the up. Without a doubt, his arrival at the Theater of Dreams propelled him to new heights, instantly making him one of the most covered personalities in the media.

He has done well so far in front of the 20-time English champions. Last night he produced a masterclass that helped his team defeat Tottenham in a deserved 2-0 win.

The fans adore him and won’t take kindly to the news that a rival club is plotting a secret raid on their beloved manager.
