It was a special night for Darwin Núñez as he managed to score his first goal at Anfield and his performance on the night drew much praise, not least from a jubilant crowd who were quick to sing his name.
Just after the Uruguayan managed to head in a Kostas Tsimikas cross and get past a hapless Lukasz Fabianski, he ran out to celebrate with the home crowd.

His moment of glory was greeted with roars of “Núñez! Nunez! Nunez!” of the adoring fans and it is safe to say that he is impressing many in his new club.
Hopefully this is the first of many in his new home and that we may soon hear a full sing-along for the talented 23-year-old, as he continues to find the back of the net.
